Gaia Green Worm Castings

Gaia Green Worm Castings are the unprocessed manure of earthworms. This all-purpose fertilizer is high in organic matter, and adds essential nutrients to the soil to encourage strong plant growth. Apply as a top dressing, side dressing, or work into soil for outstanding growth. Recommended for household plants, urban gardens, lawns, golf courses, nurseries, and greenhouses.

Directions for use: Vegetables and annuals: add 10-30% worm castings into soil mix depending on existing soil conditions. Alternatively place 1-2 inches of worm castings in planting holes, garden and seed furrows. Set plants or seeds, cover with soil and lightly water. Side dress during the growing season with 1/2 cup of worm castings per plant or 1 cup of castings per linear foot for every row every 2 months Perennials: add 10-30% worm castings into soil mix depending on existing soil conditions. Alternatively work 1 inch of worm castings above the root zone once per year, cover lightly with dirt or mulch and water. Take care not to damage shallow roots while working the castings in. Apply in spring, early summer, and again in early fall.
